Current Work Experience
Ms. Welch is a Vice President at The Craddock Group and is based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. She currently supports the Department of Veterans Affairs in preparing justifications for proposed real estate and infrastructure investments, identifying alternative delivery options, analyzing budgets and lifecycle costs, performing cost-benefit and gap analyses, and implementation planning. She previously has supported the Department of Defense’s Defense Production Act Title III Loan Program and Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s capital planning strategy and implementation projects.
Prior Work Experience
Prior to this role, she worked as the Manager of Openings and Transitions for Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants in San Francisco, CA and Washington, DC, opening 22 projects in the U.S., Canada, and Grand Cayman. At Kimpton, she was responsible for the creation of pre-opening budgets for all pipeline projects and the monitoring of ongoing job cost forecasts, managing third-party procurement agents, and consulting on space planning for operational efficiency. She also was instrumental in establishing workflow tracking procedures for the development process to maximize collaboration and minimize the ramp-up period.
